Terms of Service
These terms cover both Starmap360 products: One map (a one-off poster purchase) and Starmap Studio (a subscription, with an optional developer API). By buying a map or creating an account, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Starmap360 is operated by NetBox software Michał Chrząszcz, a sole trader registered in Poland (see the company details at the bottom of this page).
2. One map
One map is a single, finished star-map poster, generated from the place, date, time, and text you choose, and delivered as a high-resolution digital file (PNG and SVG).
- Payment is processed by Stripe, at checkout, in a single charge — no subscription.
- After payment, we email you a download link. That link doesn’t expire — you can come back to it later.
- Because this is digital content, downloading it begins immediately after payment, before the 14-day withdrawal period below would otherwise end.
3. Starmap Studio
Creating a Starmap Studio account is free and doesn’t require a subscription. Exporting a finished map, or calling the API, draws from your plan’s monthly map credits.
- Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly cycle via Stripe.
- You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account’s billing portal. An upgrade takes effect immediately; a downgrade takes effect at your next billing cycle, so you keep the capacity you already paid for.
- Cancelling ends access at the end of your current billing period; your API key is revoked once the subscription ends.
4. API terms
A Starmap Studio subscription includes API access, metered against the same monthly credit pool as manual exports in the app.
- Your API key is yours to keep secure — don’t share it or commit it to a public repository.
- Requests beyond your plan’s monthly quota are rejected until the next billing cycle, or until you upgrade.
- Reselling or redistributing access to your API key is not permitted.
5. Payment and taxes
All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices shown at checkout are what you’re charged; any applicable VAT is calculated by Stripe at checkout based on your location.
6. Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA/UK customers)
If you’re a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. For digital content like a finished map file or an API subscription, this right can end once performance has begun with your explicit agreement — we don’t currently collect that explicit agreement at checkout, so treat the standard 14-day right as available to you unless we’ve separately confirmed otherwise with you. To exercise it, contact us at the address below.
7. Intellectual property
The map you generate and purchase is yours to use, print, and share as you like. The software, design, and rendering engine behind Starmap360 remain the property of NetBox software Michał Chrząszcz.
8. Acceptable use
Don’t use Starmap360 to generate content that’s unlawful, to attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or to circumvent the rate limits and quotas described above.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access, and our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, except where the law doesn’t allow that limitation.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away any mandatory protection your local law gives you.
11. Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we’ll update this page. Continuing to use Starmap360 after a change means you accept the new terms.
